Tutorial Videos in avi or mpeg format?

Is it possible to get these tutorial videos in different format as I want to watch the videos on my PSP on the way to work.
I've tried a couple of programs that convert swf to avi and the sound doesn't come through.
Does anyone have any solutions?

I'm now testing and tweaking to see if I can come up with a decent file size. Do I have to keep any codecs in mind when producing these videos? What codecs can you run on a PSP?
psp plays mpeg4
sony vegas is a good video editing software suite - approc £60 last time I looked it can convert various formats to various formats. you will need to check the specs to make sure it supprts the ones you want.
one gotcha in this area to watch out for is Apple Quicktime. It can play and convert from mpeg2 but it leaves out the sound! hard to believe but true
I store the videos on a portable hard drive which plugs into my usb. I make sure to unzip them as winzip doesn't work on my work machine. Watch videos on my spare and at lunch. Able to work offline that way. Need to have flash player on the machine though.

I get the above error message when following the first databases browse and insert into C-Panel, then PHP My Admin. I have several other databases because I have 2 copies of joomla sites and one wordpress installed on my server. I don't have any idea why I'd get an error like this as your instructions were quite clear. Thanks.
Hi Anna,
It would be great if you created a new topic in the PHP forum when you want to ask a question regarding an error, that way we can keep track of all subjects easier and keep things separate.
Other than that, it's an error in your PHPMyAdmin, it's not something I can help you with. The default help message would be: please update to the latest PHPMyAdmin version
I'm sorry Anna, can't help you an further!
regarding the AVI videos:
The file size becomes 5 times as big as the flash videos. half an hour of training will be around 100mb. With screen size reduced, what's the max resolution a psp can handle? is that 480 x 272?
Other than that, I need to re-render all training materials to serve them again as avi.
I'll render one, and let you test-drive it!
I cannot get the php to upload to server. Here is the error message.
The requested URL /www/form/practice.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm doing the exercise where you insert a simple statement "this is the header" save it as a php file. Why doesn't it upload where it should as would an ftp? Am I missing something important in the steps here? I have connected to cpanel phpmyadmin etc.
well, did you actually upload it? You could try smartFTP, or you could try the upload function from dreamweaver. The explanation of that is right in the core training in the video: File Management.
If the page can't be found, it doesn't exists, so you didn't upload it. Have a look into that and you should be going within minutes

Thanks for your quick reply - Yes the correct res. for psp is 480 x 272. You can convert it to MPEG 4 if that easier - this may also help with file size.
You can also leave the resolution - I got a PSP program that would do that automatically but I just need it in another format other than swf.
I really appreciate your help.

An update on the PSP videos. At the moment I can't support a PSP avi format simply because it takes up too much space. I'm sorry for that. Files become 5 times as big which would mean the current content of Strawberry Campus would be 5 gig instead of the 900 mb it is now.
That will give me unnecessary problems in the future when the campus continues to grow as you might understand. The only thing I could say is that PSP should support flash files, that would fix everything
I'm not sure what version you have, but I did a google search for: "flash player on PSP" and there are some results available there. Can you have a look into that?
That might accomplish your goal!
