Training Request... Setting up a Paypal shopping cart website.

I would like to see how to set up an e-commerce catalogue that uses the PayPal shopping cart from multiple pages. PayPal says it's simple but I haven't been able to understand how to get it to work. I would like to be notified whenever someone completes a payment. I would not like to use the PayPal Pro version either if I don't have to.
Thanks,
George Graves

Hi George,
What system do you use to fill your shopping cart?
Thanks for getting back to me, Hilco. You are the tops... and I do mean that. I have recommended your CSS courses to several people like myself who couldn't get how CSS works. Everyone loves them. Now I am excited for your Strawberry Campus to really get in gear.
The simplest cart I have found seems to be the PayPal shopping cart. To use it, one needs only generate a button and paste that button and some code into a page. I assume the button code can be put in a product detail data base, but I don't know how and what to do. With system, PayPal can accept Credit or Debit cards and Paypal balances and can also process electronic debits from checking accounts and it can also commercial credit to people who are credit-worthy, all in a lot of different currencies. It seems to be reasonably flexible and doesn't need an interfacing system (shopping cart software,) and PayPal doesn't charge a monthly fee for their basic service. I think it would be ideal for the casual / small-time entrepreneur.
By the way, PayPal also offers a non-cart version with which you can buy only one item, but I'm interested in the cart version, please.
Is my logic incorrect?
Regards,
George Graves
Thank you for your kind words George, I really appreciate it!
You are correct, Paypal is indeed a good solution to handle your payment traffic. It's also used for the campus
What I meant about the system to fill your cart is an E-commerce package that handles everything for you. This is by far the easiest, cheapest and fast way to setup a cart with a payment solution.
Take a look here:
It's an article called: "3 Alternatives to get a Professional site up and running within the hour"
http://www.strawberrycampus.com/node/27
When you use zen-cart for example you don't have to figure all that stuff out yourself, you can concentrate on adding your products and setting your design.
Hope that puts you in the right directon for now, will see if I can create step-by-step videos to do so...
Hi Hilco,
What was your solution to the Paypal Cart question? I am also interested in knowing how to set these up. I tried to follow the link offered to G Graves but was denied access:

Do re send this link to me with the access activated.
Regards.
Femi
Hi Femi,
I just checked your account and it seems to be working fine for me when using your account to login. You can also find the article in the download center at the bottom called:
"3 Alternatives to get a Professional site up and running within the hour"
Does it work now? Because it should certainly do.
