Thanks for the suggestion. I've had a list on my own that looked like this:
- Contact Form
- Guesbtook
- Photo
- Search
- User Login (private area for visitors)
- Webshop

And with the suggestions added
- Menu management
- Meta tag manager
- Event / Calendar

Ideas enough I guess , the next thing is that I need to add a template system for the HTML that's rendered by for example the Guestbook module. I was a long way already with finishing up that module but got more or less stuck on the decission on how to handle templates.

I will now go and implement the smarty template system into the CMS which is quite known in the PHP world.

This does mean though, that I will have to put some extra effort into the Module Framework first before I am able to actually create all these modules, but we're getting close to a super CMS I have to say

What about adding some more modules, I was thinking about Poll and Quiz.

I thought about that, but experience learns that the delivery rate is somewhat crappy when sending from a server that isn't specifically set up for mailings.

From a marketing perspective, I suggest to go for a service like aweber or getresponse. Sending mailings is an expertise on itself and I'd rather not take the responsibility for mailing software that will never be as good as the services just mentioned.

just shot them today, the Menu Module is now ready as well.
